ou never really think about people enjoying folding clothes, because, let’s be honest, it doesn’t seem like the most interesting or exciting task in the world. During my first day as a store supervisor, I proposed a competition amongst the employees – me versus them – to see who could fold the fastest. Eventually, I let one of them win to encourage them to become more excited about what they do. At the end of the day, the winner of the competition folded every single item on the shop floor. In my opinion, even the most tedious tasks can be made interesting.

I am happy at work if the staff I’m working with are happy. If everyone is happy, making some jokes or simply having a great time- I’m happy. That means I have done my best to make those hard days at work more entertaining and easier to stand. Second reason that makes me happy at workplace is when the store meets the targets. If it’s the replenish done on time, good customer feedback or the financial targets. Progress and Success makes me happy and even more enthusiastic.
