She has written several books on the topics of resilience and happiness.
Robert Pratten is CEO and Founder of Transmedia Storyteller Ltd, creators of Conducttr . He advises clients on how best to engage audiences using multiplatform interactive storytelling. He is author of the book Getting Started in Transmedia Storytelling: A Practical Guide for Beginners. More than 20 years experience as an international marketing consultant and thought-leader in the field of transmedia storytelling through major contributions to the evolving field in the areas of audience engagement, content strategy and new business models. Transmedia storytelling, business model development, market entry strategy, content and social media strategy, product marketing, forecasting, audience participation & engagement planning.
With 35 years of personal practice of mindfulness, Michael is on of the UK’s leading mindfulness trainers, lecturers and coaches, the author of several books including The Mindful Workplace, and the Founder and Director of Mindfulness Works Ltd. His approach draws on the latest scientific research, including students from the field of brain science, as well as the ancient art of meditative practice.
Scott Northcutt is responsible for all aspects of employee career development, employee benefits, succession planning, as well as management and organization development.
He joined Bacardi in August 2009 with more than 20 years of experience in the international human resources field, having held key leadership positions in several global companies.
Prior to Bacardi, Mr. Northcutt served as Global Executive Vice President of Human Resources for DHL Express with the responsibility of motivating, retaining and rewarding the performance of 150,000 employees. During his tenure, DHL was recognized around the world as an “Employer of Choice” and as a “Best Place to Work.”
Hamish Pringle is the Strategic Advisor to integrated creative agency 23 Red. Following a 26-year career in UK advertising agencies, Hamish was appointed Director General of the IPA where he sat on numerous industry bodies and was a board member of the European Association of Communication Agencies (EACA). Hamish also co-authored several books and wrote ‘Celebrity Sells’.
Nic founded the award-winning Centre for Well-being at the New Economics Foundation in 2001. Since then he has worked on how governments can create robust measures of population wellbeing and develop policies to promote people’s happiness and wellbeing. He is best known for developing the Happy Planet Index, National Accounts of Wellbeing and Five Ways to Wellbeing. Recently with his new company Happiness Works he is taking these ideas into the workplace.
David Marshall has been the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth since 2009. He has over fifteen years of management experience in the healthcare sector, both public and private, across the UK.
Duncan Slater became the Guinness World Record Holder for being the first double amputee to complete a journey to the South Pole in December 2013. Once a gamekeeper from Muir of Ord, Scotland, Duncan was a sergeant in the Royal Air Force for eleven years, prior to losing his legs due to an I.E.D. in Afghanistan. Now, Duncan accepts endless physical challenges to prove that anyone can do anything if they keep a positive attitude.
